Our Home Companions, Personal Care Aides, and Skilled Nurses are available to serve you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All services include 24 hour, 7 day a week telephone reassurance.

 

Insurance Providers and Medicare pay for nurses, therapists, home health aides and social workers to provide medical support in your own home. Coastal Staff Relief services may include but are not limited to the following:

Pediatric Care

Coastal Staff Relief also specializes in providing a comprehensive array of health care services to children with short-term, intermittent and/or complex chronic care needs. Services are coordinated and provided in the home or in an ambulatory care center after discharge from the hospitals

 

  • Nursing Visits, Private Duty and/or Skilled Nursing

  • Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy

  • Respiratory Therapy

  • Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Therapy

  • Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care for children with medically complex needs

*Coastal Staff relief pediatric nurses have extensive experience in neonatal and pediatric infusion. In addition, our clinical manager coordinates a child's treatment schedule, provides clinical updates and collaborates with all involved caregivers in the development, evaluation and implementation of the child's plan of care to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes.

Home Medical Equipment and Supplies Division

 

Our Home Medical Equipment and Supplies division offers a wide range of equipment and materials to accommodate the needs of infants and children for the delivery of care and intervention such as:

 

  • Bathing/Dressing

  • Transfer/Ambulation

  • Light Meal Preparation

  • Light Housekeping

  • Grocery Shopping

  • Medication Reminders

 

*All patients are case managed by one of our experienced pediatric registered nurse or respiratory therapist. Our case managers provide routine equipment maintenance and sanitization, as well as comprehensive family education and training regarding the use of equipment in the home and methods of caring for the technology dependent child. The children and their family can access our HME clinical team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Skilled Nurse Visits for medication, teaching, new diagnosis, IV therapy, wound care, Foley catheter care, Labs, Bili Lights, Mother and Baby visits, plus much, much more.

Trained caregivers utilize medication profiles to monitor safe compliance with prescribed drug dosages.

 

  • Meal Preparation

Individual preferences, dietary restrictions and the importance of nutrition are always considered.

 

  • Companionship

Stimulating conversation, games, short walks and daily emotional support are beneficial in preventing moments of lonliness.

 

  • Transportation/Errands

Assistance is provided with traveling to and from a medical appointment or helping with occasional grocery shopping.

 

  • Grooming and Hygiene

Qualified staff provides assistance with bathing, showering, hair styling, using the rest room and other general hygiene needs.

 

  • Family Respite

Giving family caregivers a break or that much needed vacation, Coastal Staff Relief is able to assist loved ones with all the daily activities of living.
